Memories, like a river,
floating on top of absorbent sand.
Streaming together,
separated then compacted in the land.
Memories, some good, some better,
all with the best of anticipation.
Memories, the cause of actions,
the effect of reactions, by levels of perception.
Memories, shifting,
settling then rising to be reborn as mist.
Memories, a reflection of it's self,
becoming an uncontrollable risk.
Memories, fleeting and transitory,
as we try to retain all they could be.
