I trembled, the panic shredding the heartbeats
Halving the space, as the noise escalated
In a mild resemblance to cacophony
Taken over by a concoction of suspense, awe and fear
Like a first-time mother about to deliver a new born
For love elevates your heart to a stage
Your grail of perfection, even in the consummation of a kiss
And then shifts to the body, the tide, the flow and the ebb of bliss
For the mind that races before the body
Is plagued by the interdependence of love and fear
For the love that is rare and mythical
Two virgins on one lofty mattress
Is the soul of an eclipse, the consummation of the sun and the moon
For the man that endures the fear, soaks in the suspense and lingers in awe
Will discover the cradle of bliss
And with time, the body will metamorphose to the routines of the flesh
Love is a symbiosis
And so is fear
One body cradled by another
To discover the soul of bliss
For the enactment of the legacy of testosterone
Is pacified by the serenity of estrogen
For each man on the stage of love
Needs the sedation of a woman
To groom his body
To the endless possibilities of the night
For what lust overcomes
Confidence regains, for perpetuation in time
