Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
Somebody the ambulance did call
And he found himself in the casualty hall
First an ECG, then a series of scans
And all sorts of samples to the medical labs
Then they decided to put him in the vacant ICU
For observation sake said the men in white and blue
Then they declared the old foggy fit as a fiddle
And five days on, they gave him a five figure bill
That felled him and he again had a big bad fall
This time for good and immune to wails and calls
But they would not release his body at all
Till the entire amount was paid as per the bill
No haggling for discounts or sympathetic talk
To the authorities it was just a another kill...............
