When anxiety speaks
I listen
I dread these passionate nights alone
Yet the thought of you
Gives me so much pleasure
As I write these poems
And set them free in the wind
The moon is a sleeping sun
The sky is always blue
As blue as my heart
Swimming in the deep blue sea
Not all of my dreams are exposed
Just the ones I envision the most
With you looking into my eyes
And telling me you love me
You may have left me far behind
Like a poem in the wind
Oh please forget me not
For I will never forget you
These tears I cry
And cry alone.
