it was in that moment
that felt like a wind
whirled...
had taken the short path
against my grain
Another chapter?
I presumed.
With the feel of fall
a few falling leaves
and a cluster of swallows
dancing across
the blue and white
I was the unfinished sentence
how intrinsically bound
we are to time and its
deep pockets of change
I now know
how light life becomes
and
how heavy, memories are
finding myself bearing tears
for that, which I am not sure.
noting for evidence they make way
even in the apex of a smile
