Designer Alexandra Moura, for the Spring Summer 2015 collection, introduces us three characters: the neoprene dove, the denim phoenix and the leadered raven. Neoprene cutouts reminescent of industrial drainage mats suggest a post-cathartic liberation and invite one to view a garment in the midst of deconstructing itself from within and out. Fitted at the bottom, layers of stiff denim ruffles move their way upwards towards an opens nest hosting a youthful face with starck black geometric lines. Black ruffles move trough the catwalk with a shiny-eyed brief case at hand and relaxed denim slippers. The chance of Moura´s collection taking off is in high-altitude.
