Both worn out, weary breathing
But you still get me flushed
I’m terrified to the bone
Just like you
Holding back is all I know
Fear is all you ever felt
But I’m still trying my hardest
All I wanted was to save this, save us
But you wouldn’t let me
I want you to want this too
I want you to let me want this
Sigh
If only sleepless nights
Were equivalent to efforts
And unspoken uncertainties
Fueled your strength
To want this with me
