im trying to survive in a world with a girl who doesnt notice me
id have shoot her with cupids arrows every hour just to get her to see
shes not only pretty but witty and thats what drew me in
but its sad cause with her, ill never be more than a friend
dont get me wrong, im not mad that i wont be able to kiss those lips on her beautiful face
cause it makes me smile like child just to be in her grace
may not be perfect, she got flaws but handles them perfectly
she so fly, she dont try, she does it so effortlessly
i wont stand for the heartbreak she'll take from another guy
because a girl like her should never have to cry
all i want is for her to just be happy
while i sit and daydream a fantasy of what will never be..
