We were sleepy and yawning at four in the morning,
When we heard we'd a grandson, Roman Merlin.
For Anna a brother, a son for her Mother,
And her Dad was so glad a wee wizard he had.
Would I look after Anna as he had to work?
Aunties and Uncles all came to view,
Bringing presents for Roman and flowers for Mum.
Pop came next day and we all drank a toast,
To the new baby boy who has brought so much joy.
