Grandpa You Were The Best
I couldn’t Wish For Nothing More
You Were There For Me
Even When I Would Say To Leave Me Be
You’re The One I’d Run To
To Get Out The House
Watch The News & Stories Too
It’s Painful to See You Aren’t Here With Me
Been Gone For Some Years
And Haven’t Been Near
You Suffered Through Pain
Walked With Me In The Rain
The Day You Were Gone I Thought It Was A Joke
‘Til I Saw You Stretched Out Looking Happy Being In Such A Better Place
At The Funeral I Cried, Wishing You Would Have Never Died
You Were The Only One I Had Left
But I Understand It Was Your Time
When I Think Of You I Feel I Shine
Knowing That I Was Your Granddaughter Makes Me Feel Fine
I Pray For You When I Can
It’s Just Hard Because Sometimes I Just Don’t Understand
Why Do People Have To Go, And Leave Just Like That
I Wish I Were There To Say Goodbye, And Also Sit There and Cry
Life’s No Longer The Same Being Without The Special Grandpa As You Were
You May Have Been Mean, You May Have Been Nice, But All That Matters To Me Is That You’re In My Life
I Miss You So Much, Sometimes I Just Want To Be There With You
My Time Will Eventually Come, And I Will Be With You, My Favorite Grandpa Of All Times
You Did The Best You Could, To Survive In What You Did
Grandpa, I Love You Til’ The End Of Time And I’m Happy You’re In A Better Place, But Sad That You Can’t Be Here With Me
May You Rest In Peace Until We Meet
