A psychological fear
Must be so strong,
To block out sane,
All day long.
To smile at killing,
To beam at blood,
To worship volcanoes
And pray for floods.
Yet it’s all so alluring,
The why’s and the how’s
The rapes and the murders,
The then’s and the now’s.
So walk slow and softly,
No psychopaths here.
Just you’re soul and my soul,
Between us both, fear.
