If I chose to be loveless
Like you
I would seal my severed heart
In your stone mausoleum
Concealing
All signs of lovingness
Thus isolated
Quivering on a cold slab
My heart would bleed heavily
Congealing
Hardening
And I would limp
Past your indifference
Devoid of caring and feeling
Away from your apathy and cruelty
Completely heartless
Quite at home
In your barren desert
Of selfishness
