Too caught up with our our own troubles,
walking past other's in need,
wrapped within our selfish bubble,
driven by our own greed.
Taken for granted, the simple things are,
to help other's, to walk in their shoes,
is just to take a step too far,
it is too easy - when you've got your own -
to ignore someone's elses blues.
It doesn't take much
to brighten someone's day,
a simple hello, is all you need to say.
It is just so easy to touch someone's heart,
and a simple smile
is a great place to start.
