You barely even know my name
We spoke a couple times
And no one really knows my shame
My fantasies – my crimes.
I belong to someone else
And so do you, you see
But I would gladly forsake all
For stolen time with thee.
Oh, how I long to touch your face
To kiss your lips, your neck
But some would find it a disgrace
Two families I would wreck.
I yearn to hold you close to me
Your flesh wantonly taste.
Can you somehow hear my plea?
Can you sense my haste?
Your eyes, your mouth, your hands, your skin
Hot whispers in my ear.
My mind awhirl, eternal spin
You fiercely pull me near.
The smell of you intoxicates
I can’t bear too much more.
My body eagerly awaits
Take me, I’m your whore.
Your hands upon me, mouth is dry
Your fingers through my hair.
I feel your manhood on my thigh
I say a silent prayer.
God, please don’t let this moment end
Please let it last forever.
My actions I can not defend
No excuses whatsoever.
But if you grant me this one thing
I will not ask for more.
This isn’t just a senseless fling
For this man I do adore.
And just when I think all is well
And perfect with the world
My daydream broken by a bell
By telephone unfurled.
I spot you now across the room
You smile at me, unknowing.
I turn away, my face flushed red
My dishonor clearly showing.
The day is done and we go home
The Clerk and the Advisor.
Never to stray, never to roam
With you none the wiser.
When evening comes repeat the prayer
And say a soft amen.
Tomorrow I will find the strength
To endure this once again.
