This shower’s never hot enough
Not hot enough
However high I turn the knob
It runs hot for a minute, quite hot, then lukewarm
And there it stays.
It’s been like that for months and weeks and days.
So should I call my plumber, PhD?
Or call my best friend Lotty, “me me me”?
The plumber, though he plumbs, is out to rob
And Lotty may well think I’m out to warn
Her of the cost of owning….homes…. and stuff.
Unreasonable demand for constant flow?
Well, this tank needs refilling and a spot
Of tinkering, because it may be slow
But come on God! I like it HOT!
