The sign said, 'Turn Left, '
so, of course, I turned right
because I was lost, and
it was the middle of the night.
More lost I became
as the road twisted and turned;
My wife said, 'Ask, '
but with resentment I burned.
With a sad-eyed look,
one I hoped placated,
I told her, 'I'm not lost,
I'm just mislocated! '
WOMAN Driver
The sign said, . 'Turn left, '
so, of course, I turned right
because I was polishing my nails,
and it was the middle of the night.
More lost I became
as the road twisted and turned.
My husband said, 'I told you so! '
and with resentment I burned!
With a sad-eyed look,
one I hoped placated,
I said, 'I'm not lost,
I'm just located! '
