Standing in a doorway,
After I had walked for miles,
I rang upon your doorbell,
And was greeted by your smiles.
The weather's misbehaving,
But for me I stood to gain;
See I always had to kiss you,
While standing in the rain.
So on your doorstep,
I now stand,
Soaking wet,
I take your hand.
I pull you out now into me,
The rain falls heavy on our heads,
Hold me close and kiss me hard,
I hardly notice watershed!
Soaking wet but super happy,
In your arms locked in your kiss.
Torrential rain, I give my thanks,
For this here time I'd never miss.
