Do not be fooled by  
the wonderous words  
the poets often write. 
For they are merely 
magicians who can 
turn darkness into light. 
With their word wand 
they can transport you 
to places even unreachable 
through dreams. 
They talk of love and they 
talk of the despair,  
but behind those words 
what is really there. 
A mind of evil  
a mind of malice. 
maybe even  
a closet rascist. 
They present us with 
a slender body of words 
to lure us into there world. 
Do not be fooled by there 
pencil or pen. 
I have written a book 
on the beauty of insects;  
just last night 
I killed three slugs 
with a snow storm of salt.
