My life’s been huge,
still wondering
what I’ll be when I grow up.
Still looking for that elusive
silver ring,
and it’s my party,
all I want is an exit door.
I’m no rainbow colored fairy
sitting on a soft shade lotus blossom.
No Cleopatra reclining on my bed.
I’m the red monkey sitting
on a cliffs edge,
pounding hollow chest,
screeching about unrighteousness.
The chick that wishes
she had a cave all her own.
Losing balance a little more
each day.
Tired of pretty pictures
with false vibrato.
