For a rare letter friend from India

I Look through broken windows at the dream.
Fingers no longer write your name in frost.
Shards of the dark sky lift my loneliness
Into eternal separation of mind touch.

I wish that you could feel my solace thought,
But friendship is too distant now for song.
Yearning sinks with the rich moon into white.
Your shadow on the cloud bridge fades my eyes.
