Esra Sloblock - One Day Of Summer

2014-11-07 3 Dailymotion

Through windows shine rays causing folk to prepare
For some time in a place where all walks take the air.
On a day such as this they consign their despair
To a place far away, to a dark murky lair.
Kids wear ice cream on their clothes and in hair,
A besotted pair stroll as though none were there.
At free spirit girls stifled man dares to stare,
Stern wife catches on and replies with a glare.
Proud parents dote over their wide eyed young heir
Who gurgles indifference from shaded pushchair.
Macho young bucks to the sun fair skins bare
Then later withdraw them and try to repair
The burning discomfort of solar nightmare.
Through stages of tanning those wiser compare.
Sons catch wild creatures for daughters to scare,
Senior citizens sedately aware
Of benefits gained from this weather so rare.
Community cross section gather to share
Stellar benevolence and climate fair.
Idyllic time without any care.
