a HUGE mistake made
no way to turn back time to fix it
if only there was
apologies from the heart
go unanswered
while anger flares up
deep sadness for what was done
to hurt a friend/coworker
no way to turn back time to fix it

cannot express how much
I regret what I did
all I ask
don't stay mad forever
for I shall never make
that mistake again
a lessoned learned the wrong way
but a lessoned learned it is
so here it is

apologizing to you
for hurting you so
maybe someday your heart will forgive
although not forget
this pain I put you in
