Emotions run deep,
to the heart.
They keep people together,
people pull them apart.
Falling in love seems like a breeze.
During novice days both aim to please.
As time goes on, begin to see,
The relationship is no longer half
At night wondering what's next.
'I love you' becomes just repititious words.
The rejection and sorrow have caused both hurt.
The decision to leave has been on mind,
But can't help to think 'let's give it more time.'
Work through the heartache, work through the pain.
Try to bring back those feelings again.
