How could you go without saying goodbye
Did you do it to hide the tears in your eyes
Why did you leave and not say anything at all
You just left me there to watch the rain fall
Each dropp of rain to fall that night
Stung like acid as I shut my eyes tight
No goodbye kiss and no goodbye hug
Nothing to remind me of your gentle touch
Now I miss having you by my side more than I ever have
I can't just push it all away and forget everything we had
But now your gone and I'm left to cry
You left with not even as much as goodbye
