What sweet blessings we find in true friendship -
How comfortable to be able to converse with those
Of same mind and same sentiment -
Like gazing into the mirror and finding yourself;
How fortunate to cross paths with kindred spirits
Traveling along the same road in search of truth
And finding that their truths are the same as yours; .
What joy to find that diversity is a part of sameness,
And that even though their thoughts may differ,
They remain constant and unwavering inside.
How wonderful to know that you can reach out
And find another hand to hold when you need strength,
Comfort, understanding and love
And that finding truth through anothers' eyes
Enhances your own in ways you never knew;
These are the true friends that come as gifts
To enrich our lives in countless ways..............
