Is it only when young that we have faith?
Does hope in humanity fade with age?
Our loss of hope is a way to stay safe.
Our pessimism is merely a cage.
In people chose not to look for the bad.
In humanity strain to find the good.
Pray that common evils are a fad.
Try to look beyond faults if you could.
There are inevitable evils here.
There are guaranteed evils everywhere.
Hold the good next to you heart, keep it dear.
Just look for it and know there's good there.
Don't build your life around the almighty bill.
If you chose to see the good in us you will.
