She stands in a corner, dusting cobwebs off the ceiling
Smiling despite her misery
Knowing that tomorrow she'll just have to work even harder
I wonder what it must be like to be so utterly alone?
Living in a house with evil stepsisters
And an evil stepmother
Who mock her and spit at her feet
Who make her life hardly even worth living
In a way I guess we all have our evil stepsisters
Sometimes we can get through
But sometimes they get the better of us
Cinderella
Was so kind, so giving
Even though she knew her stepsisters hated her
She would've done anything for them
But you know, in real life
Cinderella wouldn't have gotten the prince
Because life isn't like a fairy tale
No matter how much we want it to be
Life can drag you down sometimes
And you don't have little mouse friends
To sew pretty dresses
For you to wear to the ball
Still, though, even if life wants to kick you
I think that
If I was Cinderella
I would have taken that broom
And smashed my stepmom's face in
