The wind it howls like a foxes call, then all of a sudden
the rain starts to fall. Wind and rain they nearly
always come together, but there is'nt a soul that
can sort out the weather.
When winter comes the wind can nip with a frosty bite
and those are the days, when the rain stays out of sight.
The wind brings blizzards that form drifts of snow
causing hazardous driving and tales of woe
Freezing cold nights and mornings of frost.
Farmers out looking for lambs that are lost
Snow on the ground all wet and damp, chilled to the bone
and toes with cramp.
Up goes the temprature and down comes the rain
The snow disappears but the wind gets up again.
Heading down the chimney with an horrendous howl
then enters your house like a ghost on the prowl.
Rain now falling like soldiers at war as the wind
forces them into battle so down come more; then
up comes a storm like never before.
New doors open as spring starts to arrive.
Daffodils growing but how do they survive.
When March winds blow like bats out of hell does this
spring time weather have a fairy like spell.
Plenty of rain and and plenty of green;
but no thunder and lighting which is a rare spring scene,
so we move on to the summer where a storm can be mean.
Hurrican forced winds whipped up by the warm air, high tides
and floods coming up from nowhere.
Autumn comes, but the wind never rests, blowing leaves to
the ground and all around looks depressed.
November and December so damp and cold, another year
gone but the wind and rain they never grow old.
The wind and rain are part of our weather but as time fades
away they will be here forever.
