Some people, like summoners, confuse Jesus with 'genie'.
Clearly God is not a puppet suspended by strings to do our bidding.
Others accuse God of being distant and allowing evil to exist,
never realizing they are the distant ones who allow evil to flourish.
As for me, I will have faith in God who is good, through whom the world was made, and through whom all things are currently held together.
The Lord will be my portion; my cup will overflow with oil, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
I would rather sit as a servant at the Lord's gate than dine on the choicest meats as a king in the company of fools.
