On one fine day
When he awoke,
A thousand thoughts
Passed through his head.
He thought of how
That day had unfold;
He wondered if she had heard
His feelings untold.
He tried to muse over
The words that she spoke;
He strove to forget
The dreams he had dreamt.
Now he hopes that
This gloom should soon come to an end;
He prays that
They should never meet again.
Reluctantly, he rises from his bed;
Recalling the good times they had spent;
Ruminating on what went wrong
On that fateful day.
