Oh that I might dance once more,
Dance in the old fashioned way,
Our feet to caress the floor,
Our bodies gently swing and sway.
The music; tunes of yesteryear,
The tempo strict in common time,
The memory of it brings a tear,
Poetry in motion, ryth and rhyme.
