You can tell this woman’s loved ‘till her heart was sore
I wonder if I’ll ever love as exquisitely as she writes
I imagine my heart soaring to entirely new heights
I find myself terrified- it’s a long way to fall
If I lost true love I don’t know who I’d call
Losing part of my soul and knowing I wouldn’t get it back
With questions plaguing my mind, ‘what is it I lack? ’
I imagine trusting someone like that and I just can’t see
Why anyone would choose to be with only me
Apathetic, depressive, with moods as black as coal
I don’t think even I’d like someone who shared my soul.
