thought you travelled the miles
to put across my face smiles
i thought i'd also have my share
of love tale untold before
i thought you were here for me
but you made it clear its her you came to see
i thought my day would glitter bright
but i ended up in tears without a fight
trying so hard to sleep the night
as you lay eyes shut without blinking a sight
i never knew how bad it hurts
to wake up one day with a broken heart
at 1: 30 am on eid day..
i never meant to write a poem
much more heartbroken lines!
