Why do I feel so old
So cold
And broken
Why are some many things still unspoken
Torn between two roads
Waiting for everything to explode
I’m being pushed towards one
Yet desperately reaching for the other
Not knowing which way to turn
Fills me with growing concern
Am I in reality
Or am I steadily slipping away
They all say I’m on a fast track to nowhere
But what they don’t realize is how far I’ve come
I walked through hell and back
I went with my head held high
I came back cold and broken
Ill make it ill prove them wrong
Ill grasp the path I want and take the leap
Maybe then I can catch a moments breath
With my burnt and bleeding lungs
