I lay before you a barren place
What was once filled with desire and laughter
Beauty and joy
Once untarnished
Never a secret nor a lie to the love that was contained inside
Now an empty tomb
Where once love flourished like spring blossom
Where i fought to preserve purity
Today waits to be covered and left alone
Solitude my companion and he
Darkness is my friend
Abandoned flowers
Wilted and dry
Flourishing only on grief and tears
A timeless void
Empty
Lost its glory
Filling its empty pit with tears of time
A place once called home
My heart...
Today my tomb
