The quill held in the hand of fate
anticipates your future life
What tribulations lie in wait,
the days of peace and times of strife.
What it writes will come to be
no matter how you twist and turn
The quill writes inexorably
each prophecy comes true: You learn
that your free will is limited
by circumstances you don’t choose.
Your choices are inhibited
by offers which you can’t refuse.
The quill writes slow but having writ
no power on earth can alter it.
