I sit here looking at the dark
At the setting sun and rising moon
Knowing all too well
That sleep will not come soon
So I drink in the milky sky
For Insomniacs Dream too
While all the world is sleeping
Insomniacs are chanting out their tunes
Sleep just cannot reach me
As the red sky turns to blue
The stars are shining against the velvet
Holding such a gently, glowing hue
My mind wanders oh so far
But this body remains here
Such a small cage for me
This body that I hold dear
It weakens and grows tired
Yet there is no time to sleep
My mind is still in another world
Where all the insomniacs meet
I sit and sip my coffee
As I perch on the side of my bed
Life leaves no time to stop
I'll sleep when I'm dead
