She treated them with an open mind,
She has endeavoured to give them a sense of individuality.
Sometimes she wonders why she even tried.
Who would a mother be?
Her mother toiled and strived
To raise five strapping children.
And now as she reaches her quiet years,
She wonders why!
Why she has been a mother?
You spend your time being bus driver,
Psychiatrist and Gourmet Cook.
Trying to balance a love of a man
With a love that comes of mother.
