Every soul in this world
Has something within them
To write.
And so you, and you too –
Many write, setting candles
Alight.
Every word is a glimpse
Of your soul, of your mind,
Your world.
Every line is a strand
Of memory or hope
Impearled.
And I read just to find
What pieces of Soul
You wrote.
(Like discovering slowly
A symphony note
By note.)
And I learn it is thoughts
Like yours that tell false
From true,
And each line that you write
Adds another dimension
To you.
