Yes I am depressed
but lately I have learned something
Sure I have emotional problems
but I have learned to coup
learned to be happy at the same time
it has taken me four years
to be able to do this
but it was worth the wait
because I know I will always be depressed
all my life
because that is the way I am
and always will be
but I can also be happy
I can enjoy parts of life
for I have made it out of the darkness
instead of hiding in it
like so many do
Like I did for four years
but the darkness makes it worse
I’ve learnt that now
for I have found someone who showed me the light
the light I never knew I had
he brought me out into the light
and showed me a new way to look at things
a better way
a way I will use for the rest of my life
A way that saved my life
