I used to have night dreams
Night scenes
Movies in black and white
Lacking color, always dark
A memory spark
taking flight
A disappointment
a disillusionment
could be a ghostwrite
Where my soul of rage
screams in the night
and fears take flight
Now it's insomnia
Fantasia
done in spotlight
Words are creeping
mind sweeping
with sleepy eyesight
Nothing else to do
a preview
to the days' light
Not missing the dreams
It seems
I'd rather write.
