In response to a poem
that said America the beautiful is not
guess what
you abuse the freedom that gives you the right to say that
believe it or not
This countrys not perfect
and the shit lately has been tough
but when push comes to shove
its this country I still love
I would not kick my country when its down
I would hold out my hand
pick it up off the ground
die if I had too
and thats not a lie
my country comes first
protecting it so that it will never die
We all are in to a new kind of fight
one that we can not run from or hide
so its up to all of us to stand up with pride
I may get angry at the shit thats going on
writing poems about America that are angry and hard
but I love her with all my heart
and together we will be until I depart.
