Yes we must say it dear.
Your words are music to our ears.
Smooth and silvery they roll off your pen.
Dulcet melisma, sweet music and rhythm.
And for good measure you keep us honest.
With a little discord, dolente at best.
Writing beautiful ariosos of the bitter past.
So we won't forgot what some smooth over fast.
That's why we love your melodious ways.
You give us such musical buffets,
to feast our eyes and hearts upon.
We'll journey with you and follow along.
