Sitting here,
In my humble abode,
Smiling at furniture.
Each piece holds a memory,
Each was graced
By your presence.
Pre noon cathode rays
Causing hilarity
'My lesbian dog married my alcoholic Gran'.
Carefree revolutions
On kitchen stools.
The sheepskin where we Scrabbled
And laughter rang
To your flagrant neology!
CDs examined and enthused over.
Every room bathes me in love.
Your girly essentials adorn
My gentleman's club.
Exuding your joyous fragrance.
The torture
Of watching you slumber
As, against my better judgement,
I leave for work.
A waft of your spirit remains throughout.
Traces of your soul absorbed.
Until next time,
Hugely,
I miss you.
I love you.
