The room decided to go
for a breath of fresh air.
So, it folded itself up
turned itself inside out
& wondered down the road
leaving an empty void
(which I was careful to avoid)
being slightly afraid
of going into a room that wasn’t there.
And wondering if I wouldn’t be there too.. if I were to
enter ii in its absence.
Didn’t want to take the chance.
Later that evening
the room returned on its own
but hey...
...I wasn’t home.
