We are gathered today to mark an ending. Single lives are destined to come to an ending like this.
Each of us will mourn this ending in our own way as we come to understand the changes to come. Each of us, family and friends alike, will be changed as well.
Kiss those you love to confirm your love for them.
Raise a glass while I tell you stories from the past.
If you must cry, let the tears flow, but know that when this ends they go to a much better place.
