Could I be free of me please
This tired old body that doesn't work with ease
I'm not even 50 yet
But I feel more like a 80 year old vet
Could I be free of me please
A mind that tends to seize
Eyes that are fogging over
Everything works much slower
Could I be free of me please
And take with it the disease
I'm tired of the me I've become
And I have to live until I succumb
