Can we forgive and forget?
Really after all of this,
Push it aside,
And forget it ever happened?
I can't do that,
And neither can you,
Even if we wanted to we can't,
It has left a burning imprint on my mind,
And I know it has for you too,
I can't forgive you,
And I can't forget,
And I know that you can't either,
Let's just leave each other behind,
That's what you said,
That is the easy way out,
I don't want to leave and forget you,
I want to be your friend,
But neither of us can forget about this,
We can't forgive and forget.
