Dear Lord one day I will take that final walk.
Where I shall close the door of earth behind me.
I’ll have no regrets, for I did the best that I can do.
I’ve made many mistakes, but you have always
seen me through.
When the time of reckoning comes to past,
I’ll know my time has come to face you Lord
Yes to face you at last. My King you’ve been my
resting post, the one I lean upon.
You’ve carried me through tragedy’s and celebrations
kept me strong until my pain was gone.
You’ve been a life of inspiration, of spiritual blessing too.
Today I get down on my knees Lord and my worship
goes out to you. I’m your humble servant Lord, my
love is strong and true. Dear Father please accept me
in your kingdom when my time comes due.
