The other day
while I was walkin,
it dawned on me
in verse I’m talkin!
So many poems
that I had written,
in verse I’m doin all my thinkin!
And so I conversed
in perfect verse,
what could I do
to break this curse!
And then it popped right into my mind,
I’l write a poem that doesn’t rhyme! ! !
